Attempt to launch the game and reach the main menu. Perform a fresh installation of the game. How to: ĭelete everything in (X:\Users\(.)\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA IV).ĭelete everything in (X:\Users\(.)\AppData\Local\Rockstar Games\GTA IV). Make sure to show hidden folders and files.
You may not have these folders, but check just incase. I REPEAT - THIS GUIDE IS OUTDATED! IT WILL NO LONGER WORK IF YOU'RE STARTING WITH THE "COMPLETE EDITION".
